Wait, isn't LC supposed to be back by now?

Hey everyone! Linnaeus Cosmetics is essentially getting some intense reconstructive surgery done. After taking care of health issues and life in general, I originally planned on whipping up some new collections and then reopening... but ultimately decided to go a little crazy and revamp LC entirely.

New collections, new labels, new website, new products, new product descriptions and photos, among other things are slowly being crossed off my "to-do" list.

So, why all the new stuff? Did you lose your marbles or something?
I have perfectionist tendencies. I didn't feel like LC was living up to it's full potential. My thought is basically, if my name is on it, then it has be a superior product. While I've been extremely fortunate to have wonderful customers and amazing feedback, I've got it in my head I can raise the bar a little higher. So, yeah, I guess I lost a few marbles :D

I can guarantee you won't be let down when LC finally does reopen.

Update!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to post an update to let everyone know LC WILL RETURN! On top of moving to a new city for a new job, I ran into a mess of health problems, so everything has unfortunately had to go on hold. Hopefully, said health issues are now behind me and I'm working on FINALLY getting settled in. Wahoo!

I do not have an exact date yet, but LC will return by June 2012. All collections planned for fall 2011 will be released at this time (including contest winners), as well as some other fun, new stuff. There will also be the return of the Support Indie Giveaway (yay!) and other fun events to celebrate LC's reopening.

Thanks again for all the support I've received from everyone. I apologize for any delayed emails on my end; I just need life to chill for a bit before I take on running LC full time. There's no way in hell I'm handling people's hard earned cash if I don't have the time to deliver an amazing product. Thanks again for all the support I've received from everyone!

Hibernation

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having a great winter/holiday so far! I just wanted to say thanks once again to everyone who participated in the Thanksgiving weekend sale. You all helped me out tremendously and I cannot thank you enough for your patience while I sorted through all the orders.

While I don't have a set date for LC reopening just yet, LC WILL BE BACK EARLY 2012! I still have some research to finish up, some personal/medical junk I have to deal with, and I'm moving to a new city in a few days (eeep!). Once I get settled in I'm jumping back into all things LC. You all can expect dozens of new eyeshadows, a few new cosmetic products, indie-business giveaways, contests, and a whole heap of other fun, new things!

Once again, thanks to everyone for supporting LC. It means oh sososo SO much to me!

All eyeshadows have been marked down from $6 to just $4! I will not be restocking items until the store reopens early next year, so some eyeshadows have already sold out. Head over to the LC website to snatch up some great deals while you can :)  Sale ends Monday at midnight!

Eyeshadow on SALE and even some for free!

Hey everyone! I just finished updating the inventory on the LC website; everything is ready to go for the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale! The sale will start at 12 AM EST 25th and run until 12 AM EST 29th. So, basically, 12 AM EST Thanksgiving night through to 12 AM EST Monday night. This will be your last chance to grab some LC until it reopens early next year!

So what about that free eyehadow? The gorgeous Luna of Metamorphosis is giving away the Echidna Collection! There are multiple easy ways to enter so I highly advise you get on that ;)

The big sale is almost here!

Hey everyone! I decided that as a big "thank you" to all my past customers who have been supporting LC while I've been nearly killing myself between school and work the  past few months that I will mark down ALL EYESHADOWS to just $4 (as opposed to $6) the 25th-28th.  I will only be selling colors that are in stock, so once they are gone, they will be gone until LC reopens all shiny and new early next year.

I dearly appreciate everyone who hasn't forgotten about LC and I promise that some amazing things are just around the corner when I reopen :)

Since I cannot for the life of me figure out how to close the cart while leaving the site open, here is a list of eyeshadows that will be available. NOTE: These will be available on a first come first serve basis. Once I run out of inventory I'm not restocking until LC reopens early next year. Also, collections will not be available during the sale. I've already marked the individual colors down beyond what they're discounted in a collection :)  All of the eyeshadows have been reviewed by numerous lovely bloggers, so if you'd like to see a variety of pictures I'm pretty sure you can find all of the eyeshadows by googling them.
